? Civvie question about food

Hello,
My parents have two cats. One was a stray that they brought into their home. They food them Vet Royal canine dry and wet food. But it has gone up in price. What would be a good food to gradually switch them over too? Sorry I told my parents I would ask on here for them. Thank you in advance

A low carb canned food diet would be best and reduce the chances of them developing FD. I feed all of my 5 cats Friskies canned food. There are some low carb dry foods, but I am not sure of the costs.
