Millie (Milagro) is 17 and healthy. We have a lot of discussions here about the myriad feeding issues. Here's another! Lol. She is spoiled rotten and beyond hating the attention and affection Myagi is receiving. She's never been a big eater but has been eating more since the switch to wet. For the last couple of days she has decided that if she can't eat his food, she won't eat. His food is mixed with Zobaline and blood sugar gold (a holistic supplement). So the question is will letting her clean his plate be harmful to her or totally ok? (This is presuming I'm satisfied with his intake first).

Cats are so funny. Little brats! :cat: My civvie is not too crazy about the attention Mia has been getting either, so I have to be sure to give her lots of attention, too. Both of them are pretty sure there must be something better in the other one's bowl, so I have some cross-feeding going on. I am going to try SureFeeder bowls in hopes of keeping them in their own bowls so that I will not have to worry if I need to give them medication or different foods at some point.

I had a post asking about Zobaline recently, and I was told that any excess is passed in their urine. That would make me think it would not hurt her if she gets some of that. I have not heard of 'blood sugar gold' until now.

I was a whole month before being able to start Myagi on insulin so besides switching to wet, i had to find something to help. I believe it has. If you look at his ss, his numbers came down. I think this helped set him up for the positive reaction he's having to lantus. It's only mho and experience with him. ;)
