My 10-12 y/o domestic shorthair has been vomiting immediately after he eats. He eats the same wet foods that the rest of my group eat. Is fed 4-6 x per 24 hours. Is an indoor cat. The other 6 are all ok. They have all lived together in a large 2 story house for at least 3 years. In others words...there have been no changes for him to be dealing with. Last week I noticed he would eat and immediately vomit...just the wet food, no extra mucus, blood, etc. after 2 1/2 days I isolated him in a bathroom with just water for 12 hours then gave a tbsp of baby food chicken every 2-3 hours-- he kept this down but no poop for 2 days. As soon as my vet was open on Monday, I took him in for labs (all ok), X-rays (all ok), anti-nausea meds and sq fluids. The vet gave him a tbsp of Royal Carin intestinal food which he kept down and sent him home on famotidine and the intestinal food (enough to last 2 days). He did ok and finally had 2 small, normal poops. Today I let him out of the bathroom. This evening, I fed him his usual wet food ( about 2-3 tbsp) which he scarfed down and promptly vomited. He is cuddling in my lap as I write this--normal behavior. What should I do next?
