Yesterday's condo
Cinco brought me back to reality yesterday evening. Actually, he 'bout gave me a heart attack because the first PM reading was 400! I didn't think it was a good one, because the amount of blood was just barely enough to trigger the meter, so I took another. Better. At least he's back in the yellows this am. I waited until he had finished his breffis, cleaned his face and had some water this am before I ambushed him on the way to this hidey hole and administered the drops. He didn't appreciate it at all, but at least he didn't pull away afterward when I went to stroke his head after he'd settled in his favorite spot. I think it really feels good when I stroke his face, because it seems he could let me do that all day. I hope he gets some relief from the discomfort soon.
Got a lunch date today with my favorite cousin. I haven't seen her in months - she's been going through a tough time and didn't want to see anyone. Hopefully things are looking up for her now. Gotta go get ready. One more test and more drops right before I go. Shhh, don't warn Cinco. Ambushes seem to work best! ;-)
