Cinco is still on antibiotics, but those should be gone after Sunday. His incision is almost all healed - ready for suture removal, which won't happen until Wednesday when he goes back for his mouth check. I'm having to rinse his mouth out after he eats, as the vet was concerned about food getting into the still not healed holes from his extractions. He was very good for the vet tech that did it at the clinic, but doesn't use those same manners for Mom. He thinks himself very ill-used.

We are very excited about his declining BG and are hopeful that a reduction will be in the cards soon - at least back to the .75 he was on for so long. We saw a big difference in the numbers after he came off the pain killer, so hopefully coming off the AB will do the same. Fingers crossed! He will miss the baby food snack he gets his meds in (as will all the kitties, who HAVE to get their share), but I think he'll be glad to get back to his bonito flakes, too. I will be glad to be done with the little jars which I would think one could find a use for, but unless you have kids, there doesn't seem to be much else to do with them. I guess they'll just go to the recycle bin.

looking good!

I like baby food jars for storing touch-up paint for the house. You can only use so many, though, unless you have a mighty big house with lots of different colored rooms.
