What could be the reason for Cierra Eyes are tearing?
And also I could see green circle around the black . Her hair falls out on her eye lids. ( since last year)

I did ask about this from vet he said it’s normal.

Is it normal? How I know she is having eye issues?

when Cierra was in hospital they said her blood pressure was high and gave Amlodipine. Now she is continuing that tablets. any cheap version tablets available in Australia? This tablets cost around 90 when buy for one month. If I buy one tab , Vet receptionist said one tablet cost 17doller something. I’m so surprised. Can it that expensive.

My vet place always charges me extra. ( last time when Cierra hospital receptionist over charged me 600 something. That time I was lucky enough to take it back) this time when they overcharged me 200 + but couldn’t even argue with the receptionist . She had Freestyle libre on her. Every time they scanned it, they charged me. )

What food should take high blood pressure cat ? What should avoid?

Sorry I’m too late to ask this questions . I was mainly targeting BG / Kidney friendly foods and pancreatitis. With big help from @Bron and Sheba (GA) now Cierra does have healthy food.

I have no idea about the eyes. If the vet said it is OK then I imagine it is Ok.

Medications for animals are expensive in Australia.
Want is the strength of the Amlodipine you are giving.?
There is an online animal pharmacy you could order from that I’m sure is cheaper but you would need a script from ,the vet. I wonder if he would give it to you. Let me know the store of the Amlodipine

I think you just feed normal food with the blood pressure. You will need to give the tablets though.

If her eyes are very teary it could be pain or allergies. For example, uveitis can cause watering because being in a bright room is painful. I also know that environmental allergies can cause excessive eye watering in cats. Cat eye problems are hard to diagnose. Is it both eyes? Does she paw at them? I do know that high blood pressure can cause eye problems in cats, but I'd think your vet would know that? To be safe maybe give them a call and ask if they've considered the high blood pressure with her eyes watering

yes it’s both eyes, no I don’t see she paw her eyes much. Vet said it’s normal, I’ll ask again if it’s related to blood pressure. Thank you so much.

Din, here is the link to the online animal pharmacy. It is here in Sydney. I have used it and it is good.

But first you are going to have to get a prescription from the vet for the Amlodipine 1.25 mg. The vet may not be happy to give it to you but it is much cheaper to buy online
Here is a link to the medication and it is $38.90 for 30 days supply

Oh that’s good. Thank you Bron. It’s less than half cost. I’m definitely going to ask again and again prescription for this. Thank you Bron
