Hi guys, how are you doing? I haven't been writing on condos much, but have been lurking to see how all the kitties are doing and answering a few. Work is in full busy season so not as much time to say hello and I'm pooped at night. I see lots of new names!
Chyna seems to be doing ok. BG is still in good levels whenever I have checked, about once a week. Pooping, preening, purring and peeing. Playful has always depended on her mood but she seems to be feeling good, jumping to beds and her cat tree easily and only a tiny bit of stiffness walking. Her "itchies" seem to be much better now that we are on just the Ziwipeak Lamb for the elimination diet and most of her ear fur and above the eyes fur has grown back (fast!).
I blew all that last weekend for a few days when I had a scare, she started only eating half her fuds (mostly overnight ones), it went on for almost a week. At first I thought it was just the heat, since we had some pretty hot days. I ended up finger feeding and spoon feeding a few meals in the middle of the night and opened every flavor in the cuboard to entice with parm cheese, bonito flakes, etc. Then I was reading about kidney disease and nausea, and how slippery elm bark can help (instead of Pepcid AC, or before you try Pepcid AC). SO I bought some capsules on Friday and since then (I'm giving half a capsule twice daily) she has eaten all her food, every meal.
I didn't want to put my questions in two places, so I posted my questions on the health forum here:

Any help is much appreciated, hope everyone is having green days
