Ok now I'm really starting to get frustrated. Chocolate is consistently very high and doesn't seem to come down very much at all anymore. I don't know what to do anymore?

Hi - Sorry for your frustrations - I know exactly what you are going through!!!.

I'm not familiar with Chocolate's history. What was the reason for the original decrease from 1.0U bid to 0.4U bid?

I lowered because one day she dropped to the 30s in the first few hours..I was advised to..but I also freaked as well..we seemed to be on the right path for a while then it just kind of got worse..

I see you increased last night and your spot checks today look promising. Chocolate could probably go to .8u without any problems.

Hang in there.

Hi Christina
I remember the day chocolate went really low and the reduction was advised. You've done a really good job of sticking with a dose since then. It looks like you've proved that. 4 and .6 were not high enough, so upping to. 8 makes sense. If you don't see an improvement in the next 2 or 3 days, then going up to 1 would be good. I think what's going on is that her liver is so used to 250ish being normal, that any time she goes just that low it is panicking. Today's curve looks like that is what happened. If you stick with trying to push her down to blues mid-cycle, hopefully her liver will quit fighting you.
