Chloe is flat in the 200's

Hey Roberta, I’m still following along quietly and it’s nice to see Chloe stabilizing on the 0.25u. She really does seem to like the consistent dose. That’s really great to see after what you two have been through lately. :)

When/if you decide to bump up to 0.5u, you might want to do it on an AM cycle so you can monitor closely if needed, and also maybe keep in mind that the impact of a new dose can take several cycles to truly reveal itself (as the depot builds and re-stabilizes).

It’s great to see that you’ve been getting some +2 tests in ... they can be a clue as to whether you might be setting up for an “active” cycle (i.e., significant movement in BG, or at least more action than is typical for Chloe), meaning you might need to remain vigilant and do more testing for that cycle. It’s also great that you’re getting other mid-cycle data to help paint the picture of how the insulin is working over time in Chloe, since every cat is different.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks. I agree about upping it in the morning. I was going to do it today, but I'm still having trouble with the syringe. I forgot to draw more than I needed and squirt out the excess. My goal is to have her back in the blues with dark greens at the nadirs.
