Hi everyone

Someone is curious to meet my new beauty Chiquita girl , in Spanish it means pretty little girl
She's 7 months old now, American shorthair tabby

I don't usually look for pure breed, I love all cats and think all are beautiful, but I fall in love when I saw this breed in Whiskas food commercial ;/ start searching and found a good breeder in Ukrine have the most beautiful kittens, I had to choose between 4 females and she was my choice.

She is Beautiful! I love her coloring. Oh my. More pictures, when you get a chance. :) I'm going to look at these some more when I get home from work. Was that batman outfit I saw? :lol:
 
She looks absolutely comfortable when she's laying on her back. It makes me want to go to :lol: (sorry, I'm laughing) want to go to my bed and go right to sleep :)

What do you call her for short, Chicky?

Really beautiful!! Those markings are awesome...No wonder you fell in love with her..she looks so cute in her Halloween costume too!!

Hope you'll put together a profile for Chiquita and put lots of pictures in it!!

Aseel! Congratulations! She is so GORGEOUS!
And she looks like the kitty from the commercial ~ I remember when you saw that commercial and said you wanted a kitty that looks just like that one, and now here she is! :-D .

Dyana I call her chiqui for short or chicky ..that's right hahah she a vocal kitty so she keeps meow meow meow at me all the time

I'm so happy you liked her, I wish her a long healthy life .. She's happy with Sparks they are about the same age both.

They run all over the house all day, messing up everything .. So I have to run after them all day ! Uhhh not used to have kittens .. It's been so long .. Noni was so calm and quite kitty ! I miss her so much

I will add Sparks and Chiqui to my profile and will update you with their funny pictures !
 
You're such a good photographer, I bet you can get lots of good pictures of the kittens as they frolic and grow up.

I wonder if Noni is looking down with a smile in her heart to know that you are smiling too and giving another soul some love.

Chiqui does look like a cat I've seen in commercials. Is that Tidy Cat?

I hope you are feeding her and Sparks wet food only.
 
Aseel, she is so beautiful! It is great to hear how well Chiquita and Sparks play together. Noni must be very happy to see her mamabean smiling and watching the kittens playing.

Thank you for your sweet words .. Chiqui and I pray for Noni every night together ,, It still make me cry sometimes when I miss her the most, sometimes when I see Chiquita passing outside my room think its Noni for a sec , they look little a like .. I tried my best to find a cat that doesn't look like Noni to ease the pain of missing her, I avoided all brown cats .. I think it's not working .. Noni will always be here

Chiqui is a sweet kitty., Sparks has some attitude though, he bites thinking its only playing .. he's so full of himself haha but sweet too..


Dyana, I wish I can only feed wet food, but It makes them have diarrhea ! I had to take them to the vet, and we had to put them on dry food diet for 2 weeks, after the two weeks he advised me give 2 dry food meals, and 1 wet only ! the also eat boiled chicken and raw beef. I have to work on reducing dry food, vet said wet food contains too much fat that cause them diarrhea..

I really hate feeding them dry food .. they are both 7 months old .. still kittens I believe .

please advice
 
Can you find a kitten food in wet food? We have some cans that are labeled with "Kitten Formula". They are not formula like in milk, but a canned wet food that is specific for kittens as they grow. I would change their food very slowly to wet.
 
we have kitten foods many brands but I'm mixing ,, sometimes regular wet sometimes kittens .. Chiquita is gaining weight so quickly on dry food, she gained .300g in one week ,, it's like 7 kg for humans .

vet prescribed Royal Gastro dry food for her. and he asked me to start giving wet food after 2 weeks but do it slowly.
