Sorry if this has been asked before but I was just curious if there was somewhere to get cheaper Relion BG strips other than Walmart? As a new dx we are using a ton which is fine but just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a better deal somewhere online. Thanks! :-D

You can use the Arkray Glucocard 01 strips for the Relion Confirm or Micro. They are actually the same strips, but the Relion is branded for Walmart by Arkray. If you have the fancier meter, you can get Arkray strips for it as well, but they're a different strip.

The best deal I have found is 250 for $70 (Walmart is $72 for 200) from American Diabetes Wholesale. I ordered and got them within four days or so.

Just what I needed also! Thanks! I will also check Sam's club price next time I'm there. I am burning through strips faster than I expected

Yes, thank you for this info. I just ordered a buy 4 boxes get 1 free (50 strips per box). Much better than I would have done at walmart.com.
Plus I found a coupon that gives $5 off which essentially pays for the shipping.

Nice deal.

Hi!
I have a Freestyle Lite I'm thinking of replacing due to accuracy concerns. There is no Wally-World around here and I saw the tip that Akray strips would work with a Relion meter.
What about the Akray meter?
Arkray GlucoCard
is it any good? It's very inexpensive on ADW.
Thanks & sorry for hijaking the thread.

I'm not an expert but the meter shown online with those strips looks exactly like my Relion. If the strips are the same but just branded my guess is the meter is also. Pp may be able to better answer though :-D

Thanks for the coupon code!!

The arkray GlucoCard Mini is the exact same meter as the Relion Micro, and the other GlucoCard 01 is the same as the confirm. They manufacture them and package them under the Relion name for Walmart, but it's the exact same meter.

Ebay. Single cheapest place to get most strip brands. But you have to know how to use Ebay, be signed up and prepared to lose the auction, unless you're lucky and find a great Buy-It-now offer before it's gone. Meaning, don't wait till you're close to out of strips to try to win an auction, shipping will take a few days too.

I have seen lots of strips on ebay, but NEVER Relion strips. I've seen some $3 discount coupons, but that's it.
