Charlie's Spreadsheet Up and Running

I finally got around to filling out Charlie's spreadsheet, it has up to the 11th for now just because I've been at work last two days and hubby is at home keeping track in a notebook. I will update when I can. His numbers are all over the place but the vet said to reduce from 2 units twice daily to 1.5 now that I have appropriate syringes, so hopefully it'll start stabilizing soon. He seems to feel much better and his appetite has improved drastically. Hoping he's already gained some weight!

Hi Michi!

Glad that Charlie is feeling better and that his appetite has improved. Here is your previous post that we include in each daily post so that kitty’s progress can easily be referenced: Charlie just diagnosed on Saturday, I just found you guys!

Go ahead and remove the dose from his signature; it’s going to fluctuate, and the dose you record on the spreadsheet will be the guide.

The higher numbers since 3/9 are a result of him bouncing when he hit those lows.

Have you already taken the reduction down to 1.5? We typically take reductions in .25 unit increments. But you’re at least correct that stability in dosing is key in allowing you to see how a dose is working for him.
