No post yesterday... Rough day in the household. His #s are in his ss, though.

all these mid-cycle yellows are nice and all, but I hope to see some blues soon!

I too hope Charlie can give you reason to celebrate even more but my 2 cents say this will be his 5th cycle on this 2.5? and I don't see any reason to hold off. If the dose is not strong enough it's not strong enough. It's really that simple. Once the pancreas finally gets a break by having low enough numbers that it's not stressing itself to keep up that's when the healing begins. It's for that reason that with these high numbers I don't advocate waiting....it's sooooooooooo unlikely you will hypo and the longer this goes on the more damage is being done and less likelyhood of seeing the pancreas healing.
once you get into lower numbers at amps pmps(200, even low 300) I am much less eager to push for even better numbers...I'm not looking for green...just relief from those reds and pinks.
 
Thanks for the birthday wishes, Lori! I was hoping for a blue, but I think I was hoping too much! I was thinking it was probably about time for another increase. Unless he gives me some crazy low number at his pmps, I guess I should up it? What should I increase to?
 
another 1/4 u like 2.75 get out the glasses or magnifying glass :lol:
 
I still have a bunch of u40s. So I'll do 2.75 and use those up till I get up to 3u, or just do a smidge under 2.8 in a u100.
 
Pmps (+12.75- late getting home): 299, so I stuck with 2.5U for tonight. Not too shabby! I want all readings under 300 from now on (yeah, right!).
