well 100 point drop in 4 hours is ok, but we can do better...hope his nadir is later than this. maybe like +6 or 7.
i'm happy that at least charlie is moving in the right direction :lol:

Did you buy the timed feeder? How is that working for Charlie? I'm thinking about buying one for Klinger.
 
Hi Marcy. Sorry we've been seeing more of you and klinger lately- I was hoping he was giving you better numbers since you weren't posting for a while. I guess we'll all get there eventually! We've had a timed feeder for about 4 years, but we only used it for dry food. He took to it very easily back then. We bought it to feed him when we go on weekend camping trips, and while we were at work- he was always a scarfer! I've still never had to replace the batteries! We just started using it for wet food. I wash it a lot more often now, but it does the trick of keeping his feedings regularly spaced, even if we're away, and without disturbing my peaceful slumber!
 
I'm sorry we've had to post more often too. Since his numbers weren't changing (still horrible) I needed a break from posting every day. Plus I needed to give my new sliding scale time to adjust.
Thanks for the info on the feeder. Klinger used to wake us up during the night when we first got him. The apartment we lived in had hardwood floors and he would run from room to room - he sounded like a little elephant - so we bought a townhouse that had wall to wall carpeting. :lol: just kidding. We starting leaving out dry food for him and that took care of the problem. I actually got him off dry about 2 years before he was dx - except for his snacks. Now he loves the dehydrated chicken and he doesn't miss the kitty crack at all. Anyway, I'm rambling....
