Charley is BLUE today!

Good morning friends. Well today is the last day of the school year which means my summer vacation starts. Woohoo. We saw that Charley's numbers had been rising a little lately so we opened a new vial of Prozinc two days ago and bam- blue this morning 183amps. I waited 20 minutes and retested; 182. I have to leave for work so no insulin this morning. Charley is more playful than usual this morning and even brought me a crinkle ball to play fetch. He must feel good. He is walking around twittering. I am not able to come home during the day to test. I'm wondering how bad his Pmps will be, but super excited about seeing his numbers this morning. What a lovely last day of school present for you! Yep, expect a higher number tonight. I wouldn't reduce by much - maybe a fat .5 or a skinny .75? Do you have U100 needles?

Interesting that he has been just hanging in there so long with the .75. Now that you will be able to get some mid cycle numbers,you may be able to get a little more aggressive with his dosing.
