Due to schedule changes, we are looking to change shot times pretty significantly. I know you should not moving the shot time earlier by more than 30 minutes each day for fear of hypos, but what if we are pushing it later? Is it safe to go 13 hours between shots to get to our target time?

Technically you are suppose to adjust the schedule either direction 30 minutes at a time, but I willl admit that I have gone 13 hours to get a shot schedule changed when I didn't have the timing between shots to do it the "proper" way.

I have done the 1 hr when I have an early shift (meaning Cedric gets the shot at 4 am rather than 6am) but have found that the 30 minutes shift doesn't screw with his number as much. This morning I had any early shift but he got his shot at 5am. I gave him both shots yesterday at 5:30, this am at 5, then this pm as 5:30. Back to 6am tomorrow.
