I finally decided to change Callie's insulin from Vetsulin to Prozink. She was doing fine for a while, but her numbers started jumping up and down and she was losing weight, even though I increased her food from 1/3 a can to 1/2 a can.
I wasn't sure what dose should I start her on. She weighs 8.2 lbs. The vet said to give .1 unit/lb. I gave her a little over .75 units. I am thinking that it will take some time to get the right dose and too little is better than too much.
So I guess I need to pack Callie's little suitcase and come over here.
