My girl is 12 and i can def tell she has arthrtis,on my 3rd bottle of cosequin and i think it helps but not good enough. So im.thinking cbd oil of some kind may help???? Anyone on here try this? If so how much and can your vet get it for you?? Do they just eat it? Thx!!

CBD oils are OTC in Washington state, the local co-op (grocery/sundry/plant store) carries them -- Lazarus Naturals and Restorative Botanicals (4 Paws Pet blend) brands

second mfg is is Colorado; first grows in Oregon, processes in Washington

I'm not up to speed on which states have what laws about hemp versus marijuana, or have decriminalized marijuana -- as you might guess, Oregon and Colorado have

I got a handout quoting veterinarian Dr. Robert J. Silver, dosing appears to be called out by oil in drops, suggest you coordinate with your vet --- but IMO you may not have to order it through the vet

Ok so called the vet today and they said legally they cant talk about or recommend cbd oils at this time, so i can buy this at a local convience store if i need to,so is ot safe for her diabetus or does it change numbers?? Do i need to get a special kimd of cbd oil? Do i just add a drop to her food?? Thx

I’ll tag @JoyBee&Ravan again (guess she missed the tag earlier). You do need to be careful what brand you get, but I’m not familiar with any of them. Hopefully JoyBee can help, but read the link Jill posted above. There’s great info and several brands are mentioned.

Going to get some cbd oil today, whats the easiest way to give it to them? Food, orally with a dropper? She doesnt pill well at all so im hoping not to have to give orally lol
