Cautiously optimistic - how's it look to others?

Third day of 1.25u.
Mornings for two days are yellow numbers, non-fasting mid-cycles are blue.

While 1.25u is hard on my morning eyes, I'm happy to keep eyeballing if Jester's BG stays good. I'd rather he be in the green more, but I'll take this rather than the pink numbers.

The hard part will be when I run out of half unit syringes. *g*
 
I'm loving the numbers you're getting lately! So glad you took that chance on 1.25 the other day. I agree that it might be time to head back up to 1.5 sometime soon...
 
I'm not sure how attainable that might be for Jester. For one thing, he was symptomatic for a fairly long time before I could afford to get him tested at all - possibly as much as six to nine months.

He did have a honeymoon that the vet misread as remission back in August, IIRC. And he stopped eating almost completely until I had to syringe feed him to keep him from starving. That lasted for around ten days and I was an emotional wreck.
Then within about six weeks he was back on insulin.

I'd rather have him regulated, eating, and content than risk the chance of him going back to not eating at all again. Even the hint of his appetite getting shady can put me in a panic.

In short, I sincerely doubt I'll make any changes in his dosage until and unless there's a change in his BG testing.
