Sam the cat. Is dieing in my arms, thank you for your help, I just didn't know what to do, it's all my fault

Right! This is what you need to know, although if you are like me you will not believe me. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT
You are doing and have done the best with love and care.

I know this is tough but if you do look in , just update everyone please.

Just take him in unless you feel he’s not going to make it through! Sometimes we just can’t go through it and that’s ok! When we know better we do better but sometimes we just can’t! Believe me I know & understand! You took care of him for a long time & it sounds like your plate is overfilled already! Do not beat yourself up!! If it’s time it’s just time no matter what! You are his good human - it’ll be all ok! Many:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you all for your kind words, it was a tough night, Sam did die and I am crying as I write this, I don't know what else to say, but when I first found out that Sam was diabetic I asked the vet if there was anything I should be doing at home and they all told me no just give him the insolin 2 times a day, I had no idea that there was more people out there in the same predicamentas me. I wished that I would have known more about this terrible disease that took my cat, I still have his brother Todd with me,

I'm so sorry for you and Sam. You need to know that this was not your fault and you are not the first person this has happened to.
The best things you can do now are to be kind to yourself and don't close your account. I say that because some cats seem to be genetically disposed to becoming diabetic so keep an eye on Todd. Noah's brother was diabetic. Safe journey my friend. :bighug:

So sorry. You did what you could, and what you were instructed to do by the professionals.

RIP, Sam. Give extra snuggles to Todd and, as Dickson says, be on the lookout for any signs he might develop diabetes too. We'll be here to help if he does, in the meantime please don't beat yourself up about Sam. You cared for him as best you could for years after his diagnosis, which is (sadly) more than some pet owners are willing to do. :bighug:

Thanks again for your support, I will keep a close eye on Todd, here is a picture of Todd, he is pretty sad also loosening his brother of 13 years, this month is there birthday month

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope your wonderful memories of Sam will help your heart to heal. You did not do anything wrong, you did exactly what your vet told you to do, so please don't blame yourself! Sam knew you loved him, and did your best for him. He will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge, for the day you are reunited. Give extra cuddles and hugs to Todd, you and he need each other right now.

Fly free, sweet Sam, and land softly at the Bridgecat_wings>o

I’m so sorry honey but you were there for him! Be good to yourself & know he had you to care & that’s all he needed! Take care of Todd, you two have each other to hold tight to! He’s a beauty! :bighug::bighug::bighug::rb_icon:
