I'm looking for info for educational purposes only at this point.

If a cat hasn't eaten in 12-24 hours but their blood glucose is 126, is it reasonable to think that maybe they had undiagnosed diabetes? What if they were also jaundiced? Would this suggest pancreatitis and/or diabetes?

The cat in question had to be euthanized before we could diagnose anything. I just think it's odd that a cat would have glucose that high if she hadn't eaten in 12-24 hours. I used to have a diabetic cat so I am somewhat familiar with diabetes, but it's been a while so things are foggy.

Was it because the cat developed ketones? No insulin and no food will lead to ketones and it’s deadly. 126 is not incredibly high since the normal range is 50-120. Was that taken with a pet or human meter? Was the cat getting insulin despite not eating? I honestly don’t know the answer, but yes I think it’s possible for a diabetic cat to have elevated sugar levels even without food since they have excess sugar in their bodies no matter what.
