Cat treats

I have been buying purebites freeze dried treats to sprinkle on Pudden's food and as treats for getting her asthma medication. The pet store was all sold out so I came home with simply nourish freeze dried chicken treats for dogs. After reading some reviews I am seeing compaints that they are made in China.

Anyone use these? I am probably going to return them. In the mean time all I have is high carb treats to give Pudden. Are a few high carb treats a day really that bad?

I gave Squallie a high carb treat once when he was getting too low, it made his BG jump 100 pts! But he seems to be very carb-sensitive, so maybe it wouldn't have the same effect on your Pudden. I have used Simply Nourish, I had no idea they were made in China, but they had no negative impact on Squall.

I didn't know either. The bag says made in the usa, but some people are saying the actual chicken came from China. I don't know where they got this info, but it scared me. I will run to a different pet store tomorrow morning. Hopefully they will have purbites.
