? Cat possibly going too low (+ 3.5 @ 72, +4.5 @ 70)

Never been this low before but she's dropping pretty quick.

PMPS was 183, waited 10 minutes, retested at 243.
+2.5 was 128
+ 3.5 was 72!!

I know 72 isn't hypo numbers but again, she's never been this low and hasn't hit typical nadir yet.

Offered her a heap of Fancy Feast, not sure if I should offer her gravy Fancy Feast or not?
 
I'm not too experienced here myself, but Rocket went the lowest today I've seen in well, since we started I think. It was a bit scary. He never did hit greens, but you'll understand if you look at his spreadsheet. :confused: Anyway I just wanted to say what others might say, wait a bit and test again... and hang in there; you're not alone. :bighug: Hopefully another latenighter will chime in here too.

Edit: good, a lil higher. :)

This might be a dumb question, but just to rule it out - did you by chance start a new vial of test strips today? I did, and have been wondering if it could be this batch of strips reading lower (I see you use Alpha Trak also). I used the calibration fluid and it was within range, but today was weird. But, Rocket is an acrocat, so weird is to be expected. :(

Nope, I'm about 3/4 through this bottle of strips, so can rule that out. Rocket's numbers were so consistent though today!

I know... I should be happy, right? It's crazy-making. Anyway his PM shot is in about an hour (I work late most days), so depending on what's going on it might be a sleepless night here. What time zone are you in? I'm in Pacific. Keep us posted on Panic!

I should be happy too - greens finally! But these greens are too scary for me!
 
Thanks Bron, she decided she was ready for another snack and ate some more. Will test her in a half hour like you suggested.

Surfing along nicely.
I'd feed another teaspoon of low carb if she'll eat it (hopefully she will) and test again in 1 hour. Can you manage that? I realise it is late there.
 
Is surfing low like this fairly normal? Seems so odd but can't complain since she's not dipping any more (whew).

Just offered her some more and she's eating again at least. Yes, it's near 3am here but I'll set my alarm in case I nod off. Thank you so much, will update in an hour.

Yes surfing like this is good! Lovely green healing numbers. Slightly higher greens is easier to manage! You are both doing really well. See you in 1 hour:)
 
What a lovely cycle last night. Will you be around to monitor at some point during the day cycle today? I think you're fine with the full 2u dose but I would want to be able to do a mid cycle test to be sure. I wouldn't be surprised to see Panic bounce a bit from that green streak so she may be a bit higher again today.
