Our Chico loves cat grass: he eats it and throws up (transparent liquid, sometimes with a lot of hair). Since he was diagnosed we stopped giving it to him because we didn't know how would it affect his BG.

These days he started eating our orchids which for me means he misses his grass... He is an indoor cat so has no other source of greenery.

Does somebody have any experience with cat grass and BD? i would love to be able to give it to him again

Additionally we suspect him of IBD, he has had diarrhea for a while now (in the process of confirming it)

I would not let my cat eat any flowers. While I think orchids are not toxic to cats, a lot of flowers are.
I think the cat grass would be fine for him to eat.
I used to let Sheba eat grass and I don’t remember it ever affecting her BG. It used to make her vomit though, which is often why cats eat it.

He doesn't really eat the orchids, for now he just tries to bite on it, we don't let him but to be honest we don't have a place to move them for him not to have access. I will try to figure it out...

I read somewhere that it can have a neg effect on his GI if it is sensitive, do you happen to know anything about it?
