Cat got into Christmas cookies

Well that is good there was no chocolate because it is very toxic to cats and dogs.
Is Christopher a diabetic cat.?
The molasses and the frosting will send his blood sugars high I would imagine.
My cat Sheba jumped up onto the bench and ate half of a large cupcake some time ago. Apart from feeling very sick and sorry for herself for about 12 hours she was OK . Raw dough is also bad for cats so as long as it was cooked he should be OK.
He might get some vomiting or diarrhoea.
But if I were you I think it might be a good idea just to ring up the emergency vet or your vet just to check . I am only a cat owner.
What else was in the cookies?

Yes He is diabetic. Not sure what was all in the cookies. They were a gift. An assortment. He seems to be OK. Gonna watch him over night. Just worried about his blood sugar.

You can't do much about the blood sugar. If it goes up he will pee more so try and get him to have extra fluids.....you can put extra water in his food.
Keep us posted how he goes.

I wouldn't worry too much! Bandit thinks he's a raccoon and has a notorious history of getting into cookies, cupcakes, pizza, bread, and once, half a box of Matzos. Typically his BG would raise up 100-200 points depending on what and how much he ate, but it always cleared within 24 hours. We now have a weighted, locking garbage can, we do not keep ANY food in the open, ever, and we have childproofed (catproofed?) the cupboards in the house that he can open with his paws.
