Cat hasn't eaten in 12 hours. Dry heaving spit all night just tested pre shot 217. I shouldn't give 4 unit shot with no food right?

I would not give 4 units with no food with that BG reading myself. I'd be to scared that would make BG go to low .
Can you get any food down at all??
Pepcid AC (1/2 of a 10 mg) may help with the dry heave
I would try and get some food down first and then test BG again before I shoot.

Is you cat prone to hair balls? It could be that. That can cause dry heaves because they can get stuck.
frequent bathing?
Mine won't eat for an hour after expelling one. And she will often turn away just before one is coming up.
I would have him checked by the vet to make sure. IF it's something else, it could lead to big problems
IF it is hairball related, don't let them sell you laxatone.... very high in sugar
either get some coconut oil, or butter or just plain old Vaseline ( dab on your finger and put it on his palate so he has to swallow it)

11 o'clock I just texted them and its for 421 but he still won't eat so should I give him two units instead of 4

You really want some food on board when giving insulin. I would continue stalling for a bit if you can to try to get him to eat.
When it is time, yes, I would shoot a lesser amount...
4 units is a lot for a little cat. Have you worked your way up to that dose or did the vet start you out high?
what is his normal eating schedule?

Please take him to your vet. I am not a prozinc user either but if he won't eat and hairballs are not normal to him, he needs to see the vet. The vet should advise you on what to shoot.
