Sorry I meant to comment last night but had a family emergency...
Ok I am trying to thin this morning..
lets try to break it down
Cassie did not do well on low dose of insulin...
She drove you nuts no insulin but still had high numbers
so in breakiing this down the only other way to go is up.
If you have time, take a look at shakes SS (april)
He drove me nuts for months..I kept backing down cause I saw better numbers when he was lower
but if you look at today he is doing so much better when I finally decided to keep raising
I am not saying that that is Cassie, but I am thinnking that the only way for Cassie is up
since you tried everything else
hopefully someone will weigh in today
Hang in there
Dose change will probably have to wait until after Christmas unless something strange.happens. I just found out the rest of the week is full (and I need to be 2 places on different states at once tomorrow).
Just going to trhow this out there
and I know you guys probably wont agree, but his nadirs
are only in the 200's, so I think raising Cassie .2 will not warrant a hypo
I would hope that it might bring her down into the mid 100's
I understand fear of hypo, believe me I have been there
but her nadirs are still too high
I think an increase is definitely the way to go, Denise. If I remember right, Lisa was going to be far away from home today and she was worried about changing the dose when Cassie is getting so little insulin and seems so volatile. Am I on the right day with travel, Lisa?
Yes, en route to TN. Msy increase tonight. I know he's.not likely to go super low.but I p)refer tp 6et midcycle numbers the first few rpinds of a new.dose.
Last weekend I almost wrecked my car trying to make a phone call, I looked up and traffic had STOPPED! I had to hit the brakes sooo hard that a 25lb box of kitty litter flew out of the back, over the seat and hit the dash board, broke and spewed litter everywhere.
