Does anyone have a carrageenan-free food recommendation that their sugar kitties like (and maybe doesn’t cost a fortune)? Howie has had soft stool for a couple weeks (and bouts of diarrhea before) and my vet keeps saying he could have IBD. I’ve been on the IBD kitties forum and was reading that carrageenan can exacerbate these problems so am trying to find one I could possibly switch to. I am waiting on a shipment of Jarrow S. boulardii too. I want to do some preventative things that are recommended to see if I can clear this up before going through another stressful (and expensive) set of vet visits. Thanks!

Carrageenan is used in medical research as a pro-inflammatory agent.

Sorry I can't help with food suggestions (I'm in the UK).

No experience with IBD but Fancy Feast Classics is carrageenan-free. I think a lot of people end up feeding raw.
