Carolynn (and Fletcher) and her Robbie now...updated

Please can people keep Carolynn(Fletcher's mom) close in thought!? She is at emergency vet with her Robbie! He hypo'ed today and now they can't get his BG's to stay up after numerous doses of IV dextrose. She will post later. She has been thinking he is a possible acrokitty but not known for sure yet! Her daughter found him seizing when she got home from school. He was raced to their vet where he got treated - seemed to be responding. Carolynn knows alot and was able to bring him home with an IV and to treat him at home but now he is having difficulties again and she in heading to 24 hour center. Thanks everyone. She just lost Fletcher this year after treating him many years for acromegaly. This is really hard for her.

Oh I am so sorry to hear this. I will definitely keep Carolynn and Robbie in my thoughts. I hope he recovers completely and will be stabilized.

update - he's going to stay overnite there now. His BG on admission was 44 yet despite having received several doses of hi dextrose prior to this earlier. Carolynn - we are all here for you! With lots of love always! And from me - you know the biggest gigantomungous of hugs! XXX
