Well I did start over with carl, I think I mentioned that last post. Hes just started 1.5u every 12hrs but his numbers still jump around between 300s and 400s. I just made an appt with a new Vet clinic. I called his other to express my concern and they blew them off and told me to up him to 4.5. I was like well no because right now Im at 1.5 and they got mad. So I told them I wanted to pick his records up tomorrow and Ive scheduled an appt with a new vet for wen @ 9am. I hope I like this one. As a military family I feel feel comfortable, she was vet for the military and also volunteers at the vet clinic on base. Im hoping she is good and has the pets best interest at heart. Oh the other vet also wanted to treat my neighbors husky for a severe case of heart worm, after a second opinion, the dog doesnt even have heart worm! I think i am making the right choice by switching.

It is hard to go vet shopping, but once you find one that will listen, it makes a huge difference. Hope this one is the one.

I would get some mid cyle numbers to see how long he does go, or if he stays flat. Any number around that +6 will help. It is so hard to tell what is really happening until you get some numbers near the nadir.

Can't remember, wet lo carb food and treats?

I havent been able to find treats and he eats the wet friskies pate

I went through 2 vets before I found one that would work with me. But it was worth all the leg work to find him.

Hope it goes well with the new vet! It's important to have someone you feel good about and trust, so hopefully they will fit the bill!
