Does anyone know if the Carepoint Vet U-100 insulin syringes are more correctly marked than other syringes? Or is there another brand that is?

I'm having an awful time with all the brands I've tried.

Walmart ReliOn U-100 3/10 mL are all marked with 0.5 unit marks. I preferred the 30 gauge as anything smaller seemed to bend and poke me along the way!

They do not seem to have 1/2 unit markings on them. I can be really hard to measure accurately without the 1/2 unit marking.

Some of the people on the boards use calipers when they are having trouble with inaccurate syringes. I use Monoject 3/10cc, 30 gauge, 3/8inch needle, with the 1/2 unit markings from ADW and never felt like syringe inaccuracy was an issue.

I have the Reli-Ons, maybe I got a couple of bad boxes but on most of the syringes there is a .25++ space between the top line and the end of the barrel. I'll order a box of Monojects, and a box of Carepoints, and let you know how they are!

Julie & Scott, did you ever order the Monojets and Carepoints to compare? We're currently using the Reli-Ons, but as others have pointed out, there's usally 0.25u or so difference between bottom of the barrel and the zero mark.

I finally ordered both Saturday, from ADW. I don't know how fast they ship but when I receive the order I'll let everyone know how the syringes look.
I have a really hard time eyeballing the "correct" dose on syringes with a space. A little too much or too little makes a big difference in Scott's bg.
