Care for diabetic cat while gone on vacation?

Help....I need ideas on what to do with my cat while I am on vacation. What do you all do with pet care for a diabetic animal while you are gone away from the house for several days?

My pet sitter says that due to her business insurance she can not do shots.

Do I board the cat at the vets?

I guess I have some calling around to do.

In my city, there are pet services that specialize in "sick" animals. Many people here also ask a vet tech to pet sit. They usually are experienced with giving shots and testing, and often they need a little extra money.

If you do a Google search for "Pet sitting services", you should also get a lot of options

Another option is to call your vet and see if there's a vet tech that might want to earn a few extra dollars that would be willing to come by and test/shoot
