Carbs in Wheat Grass (Cat Grass)?

Ms. Ruby has decided that she loooooves wheat grass (also sold as "cat grass"). Do I need to worry about carb content? She has occasional bouts of constipation and it seems to help with that. If I can let her eat this rather than giving her Miralax, I'd prefer to do that.

I wouldn't worry about carbs in grass. Bandit eats grass nearly every day and it has no effect on his BG. :smile:

Perfect! I've never seen her beg for anything like she does for this stuff. She sits under the windowsill where I have it, and will holler at us when we walk by it. "Hey! Fetch me that grass while you're up there!"

(And yup, we're keeping it in moderation. We don't want green cat barf all over the house)

I bought cat grass for Sneakers... she ignores it and goes for the crab grass off the porch :shock: :lol: .
