Hey all. So after oj got his dental he wasnt allowed any hard for 2weeks. Hes not eating much of it, 1/4 cup dr elseys clean protein chicken twice a week just to give him something different. Since he couldnt have the kibble to keep his diet mixed i gave him fresh pet in the "kibble" form because its soft and he absolutely looooved it as did my other cats. I ended up reaching out to them to ask about carb content and they just got back to me. What is the difference between "as fed" and "moisture free"

example: the formula i was feeding him says 3.3% as fed and 8.75% moisture free. Just wanted to make sure its an okay food to give him 1-2 times a week for variety or a couple pieces for after ear pricks

You want the "as fed" values. They reflect what's actually in the can. The more accurate comparison is the guaranteed analysis which is in minimums and maximums.
