I am wondering if anyone knows the exact carb content of these flavors the chicken is on J&B so I have that one but do not have the other 3 presuming they are maybe mc to hc but was trying to find out to keep them on hand in case my cat were to dip too low. ~O) ~O)
tuna feast in gravy grilled???
salmon feast in gravy grilled??
Chicken feast in gravy grilled18% and liver and chicken in gravy grilled????? I bought these 4 because of the gravy but could not find them on the J&B list

Lisa, I can't find them either but I do remember Deanie/Boo(GA) stating the grilled varieties were less in carbs but doubt that meant the sliced ones. I always keep the Sliced Beef in Gravy on hand. I do not use any of the grilled ones. Meat seems rubbery to me. Sliced Chicken in Gravy, Beef in Gravy.......keep those on hand. With Mishka I always keep some Friskies treats on hand. Three treats, stops the drop and then I feed her some food. Hope would only have to lick the gravy and she would go up. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

it's on the old chart and the official name for them are grilled ______

here you go:

prot fat carb fiib phos cal
Grilled Beef Feast 55 27 18 0.3 237 75.2

Grilled Chicken Feast 56 26 18 0.3 205 74.2

Grilled Turkey Feast 56 27 18 0.3 236 75.5

I don't see the fish flavors listed, but I would guess that they are the same 18 carbs

Hillary, I saw that but because she mentioned Sliced I thought there might be a Sliced Grilled Beef, not just grilled, so I ignored it. Thanks for posting it. Between Grilled, Sliced, Roasted, and them changing some of the names like Gourmet Chicken Feast to Classic Chicken Feast......going nuts.

Think of it this way.. anything grilled or marinated is high carb (18% ish).

The sliced, diced and possibly roasted are also high or med carb

the only low carb are the ones now called "classic" and are the "____ ______ feast"

like - turkey & giblets feast, chicken feast, beef feast, beef & liver feast - you get the idea

There is no sliced grilled flavor - there is sliced and there is grilled but no combo that I'm aware of.

Hope this helps clarify.

Here is a calculation to use. You may need a small calculator with you in the beginning. I have done this enough that I am pretty good at just looking at the label and being able to tell if it would be worth it to do the calculation.
Add the percentages of the following (numbers used are just for example)
Protein 9.5% + Fat 5% + Fiber .8% + Moisture 75% + Ash 2% = 92.3%
Subtract above total from 100% = 7.7% wet carb content.
Sound good up to this point, but you need to get the dry mass carb content, since once the moisture is gone the dry mass is all that is left. Since this example has the Moisture at 75%, subtracting that from 100% and you have 25% dry mass.
Divide the wet carb content of 7.7% by percentage of dry mass of 25% (.25) = 30.8% carb, not so good now.
