Hello everyone. I have a question for you veteran parents of diabetic kitties. What canned foods do you guys use the most?? We've had our girl on Tiki Cat and Weruva successfully for a while, but now she's become very finicky. She seems to like mostly "junk" food like Blue Buffalo and we don't really want to feed her this regularly. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Fancy Feast classic only. The other Fancy Feast is too high of carbs. And cooked chicken - usually chicken tenders. Very good for the fur-kids and relatively cheap. There are links to food articles on the forums.

Thanks for your advice, Jeff...! I will check out Fancy Feast. I'm brand new to the forums, would you mind pointing me in the direction of those links..?

Thanks Chris. I will check out that website.
I actually have already seen the food chart. It's the reason we went with Tikicat and Weruva a while back. We're trying something different because she's extremely picky.

when you go to cat info.org, you will be able to print out the list, 32 pages. I take my to the store, if you look, you also can feed low carb 9 lines & friskies.
good luck & hang in there! It get better as time goes on.

I give Callie Friskies and 9 lives. She is always acting like she's starving, so I don't have to worry about her not eating anything. We should have named her Hoover.

Thanks! It's definitely a challenge when you've got such a picky kitty.
