? Can I use 2 different insulins?

Because my work schedule is pretty bad I cannot give shots every 12 hours. My usual times to give my kitty shots is 8:00 am and 10:20 -10:30pm Pm to Am is 10 hours and Am to PM is 14 hours.

I was thinking that vetsulin in the evening shot and PZI in the Am shot might work? Is this ever been tried, I obviously do not want to experiment with my kitty.. Thoughts?

I do not know anyone who has used two insulins like you are thinking about. Just use the PZI and used a slightly reduced dose before the shorter period.
