Please join with me in sending healing vines, and get well wishes to Salem. He is in the hospital with a feeding tube. Camille had been assist feeding him for quite a few days.

Be strong little guy, your mama bean loves you.

All my best to Camille, who is also worried about her other kitties who are having tummy issues now too. Although it may be due to changes in their food and schedule lately because of what she has tried with Salem. I hope it is just that.

Sending tons of vines for Salem and his speedy recovery.

Sending all the healing vines possible your way.....poor little Salem. Hang in there Camille.

Thanks so much, Carolyn and everyone. I spoke to Salem's doctor this morning and he is doing very well; he even ate a few bites of Fancy Feast on his own. Most likely I will bring him home tomorrow. Long-range prognosis depends on results of biopsies and whether we can beat his IBD/pancreatitis/whatever. My other kitties are not eating normal amounts but they're eating and not in distress, and so far today no one has thrown up or had diarrhea.

I'm so glad to hear Salem is starting to eat and getting ready to come home :thumbup cat_pet_icon Sending prayers and vines for good test results. Congrats on everyone else eating and keeping it down. Hope everything and everyone continues to improve. take good care. mary and oliver

Lots of love and healing vines to Salem and Camille. It sounds like you're dealing with much of what my Pirate and I are dealing with. I hope Salem's biopsies are clean and you can bring your kitty home soon.

Sending hugs. I'm posting from my phone which is a pain. Please join the Yahoo feline assisted feeding forum. They saved maverick life when I had his tube placed in 2008. They are an amazing group. I'll post back tonight. Here is the link to the Faf site: pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/Feline-Assisted-Feeding/

I'll send you a private message on who the experts are so you know who to trust right away :)

Feeding tubes are an amazing thing. The first week is emotionally draining but just like diabetes it becomes routine.
