That's a new low for her. I stalled an hour and shot a lower dose at +13 on a 103. I would have given more insulin except, of course, I will be heading out for TG festivities in a few hours and will be gone about 7-8 hrs. I can't risk her dropping lower since I don't have any data that will tell me what she is doing.

I had decided to drop her dose from .75u to .6u last night, but shot .25u this morning. I'll test before I leave, but I suspect she will end up in the 300s tonight from the low, bounce, and reduced dose. I just could not risk her going lower while I am not here.

BTW: she is (oops, was) sleeping right next to my chair for a while. Also, I woke up when it was still dark and put her on the bed with me. She wasn't happy about being picked up, but she did start purring and stayed for about 5 mins.

Marcy, I have been thinking the same thing - that whatever that was, having in her tummy was painful. Her numbers dropped right after she, er, unloaded it.

Her morning shot was over an hour late, so I was thinking with the greatly reduced shot this am and loads of food left down while I was gone for 7 hrs, I could shoot at +11 to start getting her back on track. Nope. She was 76 at +11

I just fed her, so will check at +12 and see where she is at.

ETA: +12 was 91 so I shot .25u (Suze, this might be a time when I have to get up and test. She is just running so contrary to any past data I have collected - AND, of course, I am really tired).

ETA2: PM +5 was 77 (I am not getting a lot of sleep tonight, so WTHm might as well test her).

She was still 76 at +10 and 134 at shot time. I still gave only .25u trying to avoid another 60 at the next PS, but that may backfire on me tonight.

These were the kinds of numbers she was getting before on .25u, which makes me think that thing in her stomach was messing with her numbers. I'm sort of mulling over her time with me and trying to find clues about when she ate whatever it was. She had been vomiting very small amounts of liquid in the mornings - I assume when her stomach was empty - starting about a week after I brought her home. This happened every few days. Now I am watching to see if she is still doing it, but I don't think she has since Monday.

I also think her bloated belly is down a lot since she threw up the object, so I wonder about it causing that as well.

Whatever, I will probably never know the answers. I just hope that she feels better and gets better.

Glad to see Cami's returned to the nice low numbers. Any chance she picked up that "thing" during the visit to Michigan? Whatever it is and wherever she got it, clearly she feels so much better with it out than in.

Here's hoping things start looking up for you two now!

Didn't know it was "black CAT Friday".

Actually, I had two black cats from age 9 to 34, and before that two gray cats. Since 1992 it was all tabbies, torties and meezer-types. It's really strange having another black cat again.

I don't think she picked up the object in MI. There were no squash-type veggies cooked while I was there. There are squash in Wellness canned, so maybe it was in there. I once found a long, plastic string in a can of Evo. If I knew for sure this thing came from Wellness, I would complain to them. It could have caused a bowel obstruction.

BTW, she was 103 tonight
