Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

My internet is acting up. I have resorted to trying to access the board via my wii. I have no keyboard for it, and it's a pain trying to use the on screen keyboard. I used the neighbors computer to update my speadsheets because the wii doesn't support the file type.

At any rate, I have been holding steady with the .8u for Rocky and he seems to be managing it pretty well. Seen green a couple times. I think he gets early nadir's. If someone could take a look and let me know what they think, I would appreciate it. I haven't seen any pinks for a couple days. (YEAH!) He has put on some weight, and I don't feel just bones anymore. Overall he just seems so happy. And he is right there with Callie Mae in the morning, in my bed, touching his nose to my nose to wake me up for breakfast.
He's so nice.
Callie Mae just smacks me in the face. Not hard or anything, but she uses her paw to tap my cheek, several times, not just one little tap! Or she walks up and down on my body. And she is HEAVY!!!!
There are both something, I tell you.
Other than the breakfast ritual, they stay away from each other. They must have reached a compromise when it comes to food.

She's back in the green, for the most part. I get a low 100 or so but I know her food will bring her down as soon as she eats.

Gonna try to do a little reading over in health and see if I can offer any help.
As long as it takes to type a message, I don't know how well that will go, but, we'll see.
I love you guys and this board.
I'm addicted and I want to share with others so they can feel this way too! :-D

eta: PetSmart has Fancy Feast on sale right now, .55/can (20 for $11) and at my PetSmart, they had a tear off coupon for Buy 33, get 3 free. Don't know what everyone pays, maybe that's a good deal, maybe not, but thought I would share.

I think Rocky is looking great. If you want to be a little more aggressive, I think you have some room. You might try a fat .8 - just a smidgen more - to see if it makes a difference. He does seem to have a pretty early drop. Can you feed a little snack around +3 to maybe smooth that out?

How wonderful they are getting along and join up to be your alarm clock!

Your advice, particularly changing the food for Callie, would be invaluable to newbies on health. Hope you can get your computer fixed. Sad how dependent we are on them. What did we ever do before?

That's great that they get along well enough to wake you in the morning. How cute! My Callie & her sister Thumper just hiss & growl at each other!

Awwww, what a cute picture that makes! Maybe they are making their peace and that is helping her numbers? (Or maybe having the wicked dry food taken away, sneaky kitties!)

What comes to me for choices are:

- Just hang out at this dose for a while and see where it goes. The numbers aren't bad and maybe he will be a cat who will improve gradually - not zooming, and is getting green #s, so it's a good setup.

- Try feeding the drop, which might let you raise the dose a hair to get better duration, and still keep him from going too low early or dropping too fast. (Sounds like a lot of work to me, but it has worked really well for some people.)

- Try a skinny 0.8 and see if you get a softer drop, and if you can still get blue-green nadirs with. If you try that I would only try it for a couple cycles and if the nadirs go higher, I would go right back to 0.8.

Aww...sounds like a pretty sweet way to start the day (except of course if you're trying to sleep in). So glad that they are both doing so well. Rocky is so lucky that you of all people took him in cause you knew exactly what to do. Sometimes things work out perfectly. I love FDMB too!
