Well...I don't think this is a good starting point....as I just woke up and it is 11am. LOL. I took Calley's AMPG and it was low at 145. I suspect this to be because it is so late in the morning and she hasn't eaten since 1am.

Is it too late in the day to start an accurate curve?

I just fed her a VERY small amount of pate. We'll see if she keeps it down.

You can do the curve, but it will not really be any use for your vet tomorrow since insulin isto late.

Good morning number. Try smallmealstoday and not to much water andsee if it helps the vomiting.

Ok....not sure if I was supposed to do this or what...but I gave her the insulin even though her number was 145. And then I gave her a small teaspoon of food, no water and she still vomited an hour 1/2 later(was that due to the insulin?) I took her bg +2 after AMPS and it was 122.

Thoughts.

Agreed. I will do another curve tomorrow with regular times. I couldn't sleep last night(I'm sending my two teens off to camp today and couldn't stop thinking/worrying etc)....so I was up not sleeping until 4am. Then I overslept until 11am.

But Calley seemed to do ok. She didn't bug me all morning for food.

She is drinking a lot of water today though...even with a low bg. ??????

Re: Calley's AMPS 145; PMPS 135

What other brands have pate style wet foods?

Her bg numbers have been real steady today. Is it the insulin or the fact that I have fed her so much less today.?
