Is this good? It took several pricks with the lancet thingy.....and she bit me a few times(though sort of a play bite that says....you are bothering me but not enough to seriously harm you)....kind of deal.

I have fed her three times today so far...small wet meals.

Thoughts?

PS...I called the new vet. They can't get me in until Saturday morning. So we'll go then.

Calley pooped a more firm tootsie roll this evening. She sure is a mystery. Every day is different. But I'm happier with the BG numbers.
 
Yes... this is a good number for Calley. Looks like she has built her shed and is settling in to Lantus. I also have no problem celebrating a firm poop!!!! Come on Calley - we are all rooting for your health to improve.
 
That's a beautiful nadir test for a kitty that's been on Lantus less than 72 hours. She's starting to get an excellent response.

Hey you truly know you're owed by a sugarcat when you start discussing the color, consistency, texture and volume of poop. Lol

Somewhere there is a thread around here about How To Know You're Owed By A Sugarcat with things like Excusing youself from a social function because you have to run home to "Shoot the cat" and have your friends no longer look at you in horror (If they never did look at you in horror, you need new friends) etc. It's a riot and oh so true. Lol

Yes very good numbers go ((Calley))) go!!!! Yes my friends and family were like you can`t come to dinner because Trey needs his shot??? Your have to leave the wedding early because Trey has to have his shot??? Man the cat runs your life...yipper!!!! That's fantastic! That's the Lantus starting to build up enough in her system to start dispersing again, which is exactly what it should do. And I am very, very happy about a firmer poop, too. That was one of the rough things to deal with with Mona, too (loose stools and not quite getting in the litter box are a bad combo). This is a great sign all around.

Well....the numbers are better....but she is vomiting a lot. Just did it three times this morning. :( To the vet we go tomorrow. Hopefully will get some answers.
