This past week Cali hasn't been eating as much as usual. Well, the food in her bowl that is. If i were to give her a pop--that would tend to be gone by the time it defrosted a bit. But there always seems to be food left in her dish lately. Any suggestions on getting her interested again?

She had a lower number this morning (254) which we were excited about given the past few days, but then her +6 was 342, which is high. I'm thinking the food has something to do with this, but discouraged non the less. Her numbers at night are SO different, I'm not sure what that means though.

Her mannerisms are fine--no weird behavior or anything. She is totally normal, so I guess that is good. I just want her eating a bit more like she was...

Her body has been adjusting and now settling with food and insulin and she isn't starving like a diabetic cat is in the beginning. As long as she is eating enough to satisfy herself I wouldn't worry but if she backs off and eats too little then I would worry. She was probably eating way more than normal before you started the insulin. When I first got Mishka she would eat 3 cans a.m. and p.m. until she started getting adjusted and being given insulin.

Thanks helpful! I've given her two half cans throughout the day on a plate and she seems happy to eat those. Might just not like her bowl as much!
