Bupe injection. I need help on how to

I got three syringes of bupe. Was not told where to shoot.
Nelli is not feeling well- we are going to sleep now, I want to give her injection but am not sure... is this a sub injection or an intervenious injection? The needle is very long

Usually buprenorphine is given orally by dispensing it is a cheek pouch, not down the throat. It is absorbed in the mucous membranes in the mouth, not in the stomach. It can also be injected subQ. However this says the IV is best. What did your vet say with regards to administration?
