Buddy update

Rest of blood work indicates nothing wrong...vet suggested an US ,although at this point i'm wondering if Buddy just wasn't getting enough insulin to make him feel well. Sheila, I know you suggested the high level of his RBC may be something to look into, and i agree, but vet thought it was ok, just contiue to moniter. Not sure what the next step could be reagrding that issue...further tests? Meanwhile, Buddy seems to be creeping up in numbers slightly, thinking about a slight increase to
a thin 1.50? It's been alittle over a week now at F1.25 ..thoughts please?

Hi Marcy,
Has he ever been at 1.5U? I couldn't find it on your SS recently and it's a little late and my attention is waning. If you are prepared to catch a drop, since he has had pretty good drops on less insulin, I think it's worth a try. His mid cycles are coming down and he's not rebounding as hard.

Maybe you could try a skinny 1.5U? I'm only concerned that it's a big jump because his nadirs are fairly consistently blue now and raising too much could swing him more. He's still rebounding on the f1.25U as it is.

ok ,I did give him a thin 1.5u this a.m and pm--saw green at +8 and 358 pmps!! @-)

Blech. Sorry about that. Like I said, he was bouncing on the f1.25U. But the s1.5U brought him lower! Let's give this dose several days unless we get a warning sign (dropping below 50) or if you get a low preshot you're uncomfortable shooting. +8 is a good nadir hour so hopefully that won't happen.
