I'm glad a pathologist did the surgery. He wanted to get a sample behind the eye also but too much bleeding and he wanted to close up shop and get him off the table ASAP because of the diabetes.

Carol, his old profile picture was 3 winters ago and it was visible then. Maybe a year later when more spots appeared, I took him to the vet. He referred us to an eye specialist vet and he said at that time it was okay but if it the discoloration became raised and velvety, or the pupil became misshapen to bring him back in. That happened in June of this year when it was RX to have the eye removed.
Trying to eat any scrap of food that he can find under the cat buffet.
