I'm sorry I don't have a spreadsheet attached.
Bubba had diabetes a few yrs ago, came off and was in remission for over a yr. He also has asthma and despite all efforts never would take to the inhaler. So received 2.5 prednisolone daily. All was fine.
About 12days ago Bubba was down to literally a drop of insulin, and slowly dropped and remained steady at 100- 119 during curves. OK
Confirmed with vet and blood and he has remained steady without insulin for over 13 days. Urine is negative. All great news right? Not so much. Bubba came off the bed and its like he couldn't walk and was confused. This all with no insulin. Tested again and he was at 120. Went to vet, had blood taken and now his WNBC are elevated, lymphocytes, Neu, Ly,Mo,Ne. His Phos is low. He was given an meds and also tested for thyroid which is not back yet.
His breathing is a little heavy this morning although the vet said he sounded OK so I'm going for chest xrays.
Bubba has had a rough road the first time around w diabetes and now coming otj something is so not right.
Anyone's cat had complications after ? I know some of rge levels mentioned can be raised due to steroids, so I've taken that in account. But the walking ( not the hind leg weakness) and high Wbc is freaking me out.
Going for Xrays, I'm sure a ultrasound if the t4 shows nothing. Any feedback is apprecaied

Did they check blood pressure?
Did they check potassium?

Heart failure and high blood pressure could cause some of those symptoms, as could a blood clot to the brain (stroke) or cancer (mass effects or infiltration/destruction of tissues.)

You'll just have to wait for the lab and x-ray results.

No advice here, but just wanted to send you a big reassuring (((hug))) and say that I hope Bubba gets a firm diagnosis soon, and hope that whatever ails him is easily treatable.

Best wishes,

Eliz

Thank you everyone. T4 is negative and tomorrow is chest xrays. I'm beside myself and I'm praying its treatable. Please send Bubba healing vibes and prayers.
