Good Morning L & L ~

Mr. Flat Blue Cat last night's cycle. Thrilled that the restart of insulin got him out of the pinks and yellows. Looking forward to seeing what this 2nd cycle of 0.5 does for him. Yesterday's drop dose surprised me of how well it contained him.

Momma is happy, Bubba is depressed and back down isolated in his man cave. Hope this is short lived. :nailbiting:

Vines to all kitties and Beans in need.

ETA : This is his 3rd dose of 0.5 not 2nd. I am really out of practice.......

I so hope so for his sake. He is isolating again and running from me when I go down to the basement to test him. I think between depression and perhaps the swing from the 200-300's he's could be feeling a bit crummy.

Aw, poor little guy! I have a civvie who also lives to go outside-- on the rare occasions when I have to deny him, you'd think his whole world was ending, he's so dramatic in his woe-is-me act .

I'm confident that Bubba's latest insulin stint will be a short one. He's already showing you he remembers how it's done!

He's responding great so taking that as a good sign.
fingers crossed.

PMBG -120. It has been storming here and I had to pull him out from under the bed and of course he jumped down for the testing site, twice and ran, had to close up all the bedroom door and door to basement. Not to bad of a number considering he was stressed which makes be believe it could have been lower. But, I will take it!

Hi, Bobbie. Glad Bubba responding well to the return of the 'ol micro dose routine bg-wise, but bummer that he's bummed out recently. Hope it's bc of the weather. Lots of rain here yesterday, too, and Azalea decided to make herself invisible from after breakfast til early supper time. She made herself so unfindable that I had to reschedule her weekly vet check to early next week.

Hope your weekend full of sunshine and a happy Bubba. Sending heaps of vines your way.❤❤❤

So nice to hear from you Sina! That little stinker Azalea hiding so well. Isn't it crazy how sometime you look and look and then they just appear?!!! Why does she have "weekly" vet appointments? That sure keeps you busy.

We had a storm come through here last night and we have had our share of rain too. Bubba's disposition is more about losing his outside privileges while back on the juice. Poor boy, he is quite upset.....

Enjoy your weekend too! :bighug:

Azalea gets fluids and B12 in the line once a week and a mouth recheck. She's a two-person effort with fluids and beyond contrary about having fluids at home even with Steve, her best buddy, holding her. At the vet, she obliges though only for one of the techs who has the right touch, voice and approach. Im there to assure and distract. Her surface nerve endings are hypersensitive to syringe needle pricks, 22 gauge being the least invasive for her. Who'd think that a little 6# 19-year old cat could scare off the others with a hiss? Kathy isn't deterred and gets a head butt thank you in return❤

What's interesting is that azalea is completely mellow and hiss-free before, during and after her acupuncture at her tcm acupuncture vet! And no fuss about acupuncture needles either.

Have a good weekend!
