Happy Caturday Everone!

Status Quo with the Bubster. He continues to sit perched up on the compost pile. Yesterday, he was there for 2 hours! Guess it's the equivalent to deer hunters up in tree stands.

Still holding the 0.1 dose as he occasionally throws low blue AMPS numbers and he is tolerating this dose well. I don't want to set him back.

OT: Mom is getting stronger each day with PT and OT again. She is staying awake for longer periods of time and eating well. As long as we can keep her mobile...

Forrest is holding his own and eating well. Two days in a row he peed inaprropriately as he was walking....not sure if it is behavioral or from the renal cycst. Each time it was on the hard wood floors and not area carpets which I am happy about.

Shout out to @Bronx's dad , the problem with staying logged in was to turn off the privacy setting on Safari as you had posted . I had to google how to do it, as I am as you know a tech mo mo. Must have accidentally turned it back on at some point. Thanks Paul for once again helping me with tech stuff!

It sounds like you are having a happy Caturday! Glad to hear all your good news. Can you please advise me on how you are able to give a 0.1 dose of insulin? The smallest measure on my syringes is 1/2 unit and I have a heck of a time trying to do 1.25. Thanks. >^..^<

Sure , the first line on the syringe is the zero line. On my syringes ( I use Relion brand) that zero line is about 0.1 dose. I use calipers to make sure. Sometimes it’s a bit below it. But the calipers really help to get a more consistent dose.

Have you seen the pictorial guide for micro dosing? If you haven’t let me know and I will post it for you when I’m back on my tablet.

Thanks very much. I'm such a newbie -- I don't even know about the calipers. I'd love to see the info about micro dosing. Thanks very much. No rush at all.

Here is the link on calipers. It is very informative and Marje did a video to explain how to use and set them. It also tells where you can buy them and which ones to get.

ETA: And welcome to the Lantus forum! Keep asking questions as that is how we all learn.

We put Frank Sinatra radio on Pandora for her. She loves it. My dad was a huge music fan of that genre and I grew up listening to Big Band stuff and all the greats from that time period. Mom can't always remember who the artist is ( I quiz her) but she often remembers the tune and words.

Glad to hear all is well.

How's the aspargus? New ones are coming up here but not the established ones, go figure.

We have been cutting and eating since Easter. It does take a few years for it to establish, but I think yours should be established by now. Maybe yours isn't getting enough sun?

It's full sun sunrise to sunset. What's coming up now is definitely all new baby asparagus. So tiny and thin, I think from the seeds of last year's as the established went to the red berry stage and I let them drop. Don't know what happened to the was I planted for last five years every year.
