Good Morning L & L ~

I'm not too surprised with this blue start. Last night, Bubba decided to drop to 47 at +3.5, a half hour after eating......so we had to bring out some FF Roasted as momma wanted to go to bed after hosting Easter dinner.

Question: Did Fancy Feast change their formula? Previously Chicken Roasted was Medium carb and now it's 6 %.

And, he flirted again this morning but came up nicely with his regular raw food.

Forrest: Status quo with him not peeing inappropriately. :)

Vines to all Beans and Kitties in need.

Numbers looking great! I hope he comes back down asap and continues to do well.

Just out of curiosity and since I am new to this I would like to learn - - since his numbers are looking good, after one full week on the .75 dose you plan on reducing him .25 again right? I know reductions are earned with either a 50 or below, or a week of good numbers. What exactly are "good numbers"? I have seen 50 - 80, but then isn't "normal" 80-120? Just curious how high he could go that would not warrant a reduction?

Yes, if Bubba does 7 days in number under 100, I will reduce again by either .25 or maybe just 0.10 since this is Bubba's 4th time on insulin. Or if he gives me 2 more drops under 50 I will reduce, which ever comes first.

You are correct that normal numbers are 80 -120, but when it comes to reducing for being in normal numbers we use under 100 scale (or in all green numbers) which will take into consideration of meter various +/- 20%.

Bobbie, you left me hanging with your thread title of +3.5=50 then just + :p. Good thing I checked your SS...nice little swim in the lagoon for Bubba ;)
